Every Krieger chronometer is handmade in Switzerland by expert craftsmen.

The casing
of each Krieger is machined from a solid block of stainless steel, fitted with a
scratch-resistant sapphire crystal,
screw-down crown and case back. Each is also individually pressure tested to great
depths.
In addition, every serial-numbered Krieger quartz or automatic movement has been
certified by the Controle Officiel Suisse Des
Chronometres. To qualify, a watch must survive a minimum of 13 days testing for
shock resistance, accuracy and precision under extreme conditions. A rating certificate,
enclosed with each chronometer , attests to the superior quality of the instrument.
Krieger's Hammerhead design is the only wristwatch available today that is a certified
automatic with a skeleton back and water
resistant to 1,000 feet (300 meters). This is the ultimate divers' watch for someone who
demands the most in perfection and
competition. Lunar and Tidal Chronometers are also serious instruments for the avid
sportsman. The Lunar Chronometer informs the wearer when a "moon over" or a "moon
under" is occurring. It is the only timekeeping instrument that reports the moon's phase and
position at all times, and is the first and only quartz chronometer chronograph to be Swiss
certified.
